توعدت إيران، اليوم (الأربعاء)، بتوسيع نطاق هجماتها لتشمل مراكز اقتصادية وبنوكاً ومرافق تكنولوجية مرتبطة بالولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل في الشرق الأوسط، رداً على استهداف بنك إيراني في العاصمة طهران خلال ضربات نفذتها الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل أمس (الثلاثاء).
وجاء التهديد الإيراني في وقت تحدثت وسائل إعلام رسمية عن مرحلة جديدة من الصراع الإقليمي، تتجه فيها المواجهة إلى استهداف البنية التحتية الاقتصادية والتكنولوجية في المنطقة.
قائمة «أهداف جديدة»
نشرت وكالة «تسنيم» المرتبطة بالحرس الثوري قائمة بعنوان «أهداف إيران الجديدة»، قالت إنها تضم مكاتب ومنشآت مرتبطة بكبرى شركات التكنولوجيا الأمريكية، من بينها «قوقل»، «أمازون»، «مايكروسوفت»، «إنفيديا»، «آي بي إم»، «أوراكل»، «بالانتير».
وبحسب الوكالة، فإن هذه المنشآت موزعة في إسرائيل ودبي وأبوظبي ومناطق أخرى في الشرق الأوسط.
وأضافت: «مع توسع الحرب الإقليمية لتتحول إلى حرب على البنية التحتية، يتسع تدريجياً نطاق الأهداف التي تعتبرها إيران مشروعة».
ضربات سابقة على مراكز بيانات «أمازون»
وأشارت تقارير إلى أن الحرس الثوري الإيراني نفذ خلال الأيام الماضية هجمات استهدفت منشآت لشركة «أمازون» في منطقة الخليج.
وأفادت المعلومات بأن طائرات مسيّرة إيرانية هاجمت الأسبوع الماضي مركز بيانات تابعاً لخدمة خدمات «أمازون السحابية» (AWS) في البحرين، بعد ضربات سابقة استهدفت منشأتين للشركة في دولة الإمارات.
وقالت وسائل إعلام إيرانية إن هذه الضربات جاءت «لاختبار دور تلك المراكز في دعم الأنشطة العسكرية والاستخباراتية للعدو».
وتُعد هذه الهجمات، بحسب مراقبين، سابقة في طبيعة الحروب الحديثة، إذ تمثل استهدافاً مباشراً لمراكز بيانات تجارية من قبل دولة منخرطة في نزاع مسلح.
طائرات «شاهد» تضرب البنية الرقمية
ووفق التقارير، فقد أصابت طائرة مسيّرة من طراز «شاهد 136» في الأول من مارس، عند الرابعة والنصف صباحاً، مركز بيانات تابعاً لـAWS في الإمارات، ما أدى إلى اندلاع حريق كبير وانقطاع كامل للتيار الكهربائي عن المنشأة.
وأشارت التقارير إلى أن محاولات إخماد الحريق تسببت في أضرار إضافية داخل الموقع.
وبعد ذلك بوقت قصير، تعرض مركز بيانات ثانٍ للشركة في الإمارات لضربة أخرى، فيما تأثر مركز ثالث في البحرين بهجوم بطائرة مسيّرة انتحارية انفجرت عند الاصطدام.
البنية الرقمية.. جبهة الحرب الجديدة
ويرى خبراء أن استهداف مراكز البيانات يمثل تحولاً لافتاً في طبيعة الصراعات الحديثة، إذ تتحول البنية التحتية التكنولوجية المدنية والتجارية إلى أهداف إستراتيجية.
فمراكز البيانات لا توفر خدمات رقمية للسكان والشركات فحسب، بل تُعد أيضاً جزءاً مهماً من شبكات الدعم الاستخباراتي والعسكري في المنطقة.
كما أن إعادة بناء هذه المنشآت قد تكون مكلفة للغاية، إذ تُصنف مراكز البيانات الحديثة ضمن أكثر المشاريع التقنية والبنية التحتية تكلفة في العالم.
Iran vowed today (Wednesday) to expand the scope of its attacks to include economic centers, banks, and technological facilities linked to the United States and Israel in the Middle East, in response to the targeting of an Iranian bank in the capital Tehran during strikes carried out by the United States and Israel yesterday (Tuesday).
The Iranian threat came at a time when official media reported on a new phase of regional conflict, where the confrontation is shifting towards targeting economic and technological infrastructure in the region.
List of “New Targets”
The Tasnim agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, published a list titled “Iran’s New Targets,” which it said includes offices and facilities associated with major American technology companies, including “Google,” “Amazon,” “Microsoft,” “Nvidia,” “IBM,” “Oracle,” and “Palantir.”
According to the agency, these facilities are distributed across Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other areas in the Middle East.
It added, “As the regional war expands to become a war on infrastructure, the scope of targets that Iran considers legitimate is gradually widening.”
Previous Strikes on “Amazon” Data Centers
Reports indicated that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard carried out attacks in recent days targeting facilities of “Amazon” in the Gulf region.
Information revealed that Iranian drones attacked last week a data center belonging to the “Amazon Web Services” (AWS) in Bahrain, following previous strikes that targeted two of the company’s facilities in the United Arab Emirates.
Iranian media reported that these strikes were carried out “to test the role of those centers in supporting the military and intelligence activities of the enemy.”
These attacks are considered, according to observers, a precedent in the nature of modern warfare, as they represent a direct targeting of commercial data centers by a state engaged in armed conflict.
“Shahed” Drones Strike Digital Infrastructure
According to reports, a “Shahed 136” drone struck an AWS data center in the UAE on March 1 at 4:30 AM, causing a large fire and a complete power outage at the facility.
Reports indicated that attempts to extinguish the fire caused additional damage inside the site.
Shortly thereafter, a second data center of the company in the UAE was hit by another strike, while a third center in Bahrain was affected by an attack from a suicide drone that exploded upon impact.
Digital Infrastructure: The New Front of War
Experts believe that targeting data centers represents a significant shift in the nature of modern conflicts, as civilian and commercial technological infrastructure becomes strategic targets.
Data centers not only provide digital services to populations and businesses but are also an important part of intelligence and military support networks in the region.
Moreover, rebuilding these facilities can be extremely costly, as modern data centers are classified among the most expensive technological and infrastructure projects in the world.
